The Information Behavior in Everyday Contexts project (IBEC) arose from the support of several key organizations, most notably the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS). Their contributions enabled IBEC to grow from the foundation of research established via the Help Seeking in an Electronic World and the How Libraries and Librarians Help study series.
In addition to the important contributions of the IMLS and other organizations, we wish to acknowledge our past and current collaborations with public libraries and other non-profits around the country. We highly value all of our partnerships and extend our gratitude to our partners. We look forward to continuing our work of maximizing the impact of information in communities.
