Trabant's modern theme gives it a comfortable feel, thereby, making it a great place to meet with others or to go by oneself. Customers can participate in the flow of information by communicating directly with others in the café or indirectly on the internet and by writing in journals. Trabant also hosts weekly live music shows, allowing one to participate in the sharing of information or just to sit back to observe and enjoy it.
Trabant encourages the sharing of information in many different ways, blending older traditional methods with newer ones. Trabant has journals where anyone can write and draw anything that is on his or her mind, and free wireless allowing anyone to bring in their laptops and participate in the sharing of information on the internet. The journals are a great way to share information because of how they allow for indirect communication between anyone who is interested. There are numerous journals at Trabant and they have been written in over the years. This allows people to jump into the minds of fellow Trabant customers no matter when they visited the café.
To facilitate the information flow, there is still room to improve technologically. They have their own website. The addition of a chat room and an online forum would make it stand out more as great information ground. This would make it a much better information ground because of all the information that could be exchanged not just within the café but from everywhere. The chat room could be used as a way for people to meet others who frequent the café or simply as another means of communication where people can talk about anything that’s on their mind. Additionally, an overhaul of the website would attract more visitors and facilitate more information sharing and flow by using chat rooms and forum. Improvements stated above can be done outside the café or for those who bring their laptops; however, another suggestion that information exchange could be facilitated at Trabant café is installing a few computers on site, so customers are welcomed to use them anytime. That way people can read the news, check and send emails, and use the Trabant café forum and chat room like it is said above. The free Wi-Fi connectivity benefit is limited for those who bring personal laptops, but installing few computers on site for the customers will facilitate the information exchange.
Trabant Coffee & Chai Lounge is a great place to go if you want to relax with some friends and talk about anything from everyday life to politics to video games. The reason why Trabant makes a good information ground is because of its warm atmosphere, as people are likely to talk about a lot of different things at once. Another reason, which we knew from experience, is that coffee shops are really good places to hear gossip and get the latest news from a lot of different sources. Probably the biggest source of information is the people in Trabant. If one person starts talking about a certain topic, in a few minutes others might also be talking about the same thing. Overall, Trabant is a really good place to go if you want to have a good cup of chai or coffee and sit around and chat with friends. All these things make Trabant Cofee & Chai Lounge an excellent information ground.
